The history of restaurant Le Bordeaux, formerly “Café de Bordeaux” has been written since 1850. For centuries, this mythical establishment has been the doorway to Bordeaux’ art-de-vivre. Faithfull to its city and terroir, people would come from all over the country to savor the treasures of local gastronomy. Almost 200 years later, the tradition continues.

Designed in a Belle-Époque style, restaurant le Bordeaux exhilarates the senses with a breathtaking view of the Opéra National. Eager to anchor the history that links this legendary restaurant to its city, interior designer Jacques Garcia has modulated the bottle-green, red-burgundy and sweet-gold tones in homage to Bordeaux’ wines. This fusion between the elegant decoration and the teams’ passion for South West products makes restaurant le Bordeaux the favorite place to savor the wonders of our region.

Le Bordeaux does its BBQ!

From July, 12th

Every Sunday, the restaurant Le Bordeaux concocts delicious grilled meat and/or fish on the Place de la Comédie. All you have to do is sit back and savour vegetables from the market, starters to share, make your choice between a piece of beef from the Bardet butcher's shop, fish from the fish market or poultry from the Landes.
